Lumen Learning Center has several tutoring jobs open right now. Our education center is growing quickly, so we are accepting resumes for Interns, Junior Tutors and Senior Tutors.
Tutoring Jobs
Tutoring is a very rewarding profession. If you have thought about entering this field of study, you can get the experience you need by becoming an Intern Tutor at Lumen Learning Center at our Sunnyvale, CA, location. Tutors need to be currently enrolled in college, but prior tutoring experience is not necessary. You will receive on the job support and your work will be supervised by the Senior Tutor on duty.
Junior Tutors are needed for K-8 in the subjects of: Language Arts, English, Math, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, Science and History, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will need 1 – 2 years of tutoring experience and be currently enrolled in a college program or have graduated with a degree.
Senior Tutors are currently needed for K-8 Language Arts, English, Math, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, Science and History, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. A Bachelor’s Degree is required along with 2 – 3 years of tutoring experience.
Our tutoring positions are available immediately for the classroom setting at Lumen Learning Center and also for tutoring at a child’s home. We prefer a commitment of working with our center for at least one year. Qualifications for positions with our company also require promptness and reliability, passing a background check and having excellent time management skills.
