Tutoring Programs for Kids
Our tutoring programs for kids focus on elementary, middle and high school grades. We also offer some prep tutoring for tests required for entry in college, such as the ACT. But for kids, we have a wide variety of tutoring to get the child up to speed in their classes or excel in advanced classes.
We believe that learning should be fun and our tutors design their lessons around that philosophy. A child needs to find joy in learning and with the right teaching method he or she will start to love their school subjects. Then their learning will excel.
The first step in being matched with the right tutor is to allow us to evaluate your child. We need to discover any hidden learning challenges that we will need to take into consideration when teaching. We will test to discover his or her natural learning style, also. When we know this information, we can match the student with the right tutor, the tutor that will teach in their learning style and manage any learning challenges such as dyslexia.
A few times per year we will have special programs that are in addition to the normal curriculum. STEM is one of these programs. Special programs are a lot of fun for the kids and they really look forward to new and interesting subjects to explore in different ways. It is like a learning day camp.
