Kids love Halloween and this game has all the fun of their favorite holiday without any of the candy. Let them break out what’s left of their bag of candy and eat 1 piece every time they answer one of these equations correctly.
Exponents Jeopardy for CC.6.EE.1, CC.8.EE.1, CC.8.EE.3
This game focuses on 3 areas:
- Evaluating exponents
- Equations with exponents
- Exponents with fractional bases
This game can include other players, so your child can compete with a friend.
Baseball Subtraction with Grouping CCSS 2.NBT.5, 8
When your child loves baseball, there is only one thing to do. Learn math with a baseball game! Actually, knowledge of baseball isn’t necessary to play, it just makes subtracting a lot more interesting.
Concentration Integers CCSS.Math.Content.7.NS.A.1, c
This game can be played solo or with others, you choose. It’s like the old television game called Concentration. You click on 2 tiles and see if they match, but with this game there is a math problem to solve.
